Will Blochinger
Will Blochinger’s images grew out of a desire to create a different environment of imagery for weddings, family portraits and celebrity portraiture. That desire has developed into a style that provides clients with images that last and resonate.
Will Blochinger has been a well known celebrity/music photographer for the last 20 years. In 2003 he was named Head of Photography for the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where, for the premier issue, he photographed Metallica for the cover and Paris Hilton & Nicole Ritchie for a feature layout.
Will traveled to Los Angeles in 1991 and began photographing rock-n-roll bands in the mid 90’s including The Rolling Stones and Guns n Roses. In 2001 he made his “home away from home” with the staff of Celebrity photographer Herb Ritts, where for years; he learned and sharpened his craft for portraiture photography from the best talents in the world.
While the diversity of Will’s work has included every major record label from Arista Records to Warner Bros, and every magazine from Rolling Stone to Variety Life, the thrust of his work have been his breathtaking portraits of many of today’s greatest icons and tomorrow’s stars.
In 2005 Will decided to move back where he grew up in New Jersey, to be closer to his family and lifelong friends. Although this is now his home base, he still travels here and there for his portraiture work when needed.
